Clothing brand says Polygiene is what it was looking for
Cycling apparel brand Maloja has used anti-odour technology from Polygiene in 80% of the products in its latest collection.
The Bavarian brand’s head of production, Sven Köhler, said Maloja’s motivation was to produce functional clothing that would stay fresh for longer and require less washing.
He added that the company had been working for some time to identify ways of “saving valuable resources” and that using Polygiene’s technology would do this because it would mean clothes going through fewer wash cycles.
“With Polygiene, we found what we were looking for,” he said. “Almost all tricots and the high-performance chamois in our bike shorts are treated with Polygiene.”
