Senior appointment at The Athlete’s Foot

Athletic footwear retail chain The Athlete’s Foot has appointed Romano Cinelli as its general manager. His role will include brand partner management with footwear groups including Nike, adidas, New Balance and Puma.
The Athlete’s Foot has 560 stores in 30 countries. It was acquired last year from Intersport by another Switzerland-based group, Arklyz.
A seasoned footwear industry veteran, Romano Cinelli previously held senior roles at Converse and Nike.
