Apparel group HanesBrands has named Vanessa LeFebvre as president of activewear. Her main focus will be to try help the group’s Champion brand grow its business.

She joins from Adidas, where she was a senior vice-president, with responsibility for e-commerce, retail and wholesale in North America.

HanesBrands said Champion already had strong momentum and that, with Ms LeFebvre’s experience, and a focus on innovation, on key markets and on new channels, it can grow further.
