Further footwear acquisition for Arklyz

Switzerland-based investment group Arklyz has made another footwear acquisition. It acquired athletic footwear retail chain The Athlete’s Foot from Intersport in 2021. Now, it has added Baltimore-based sneaker and streetwear lifestyle retail chain Shoe City to its portfolio.

Arklyz has said it will add Shoe City, which runs 40 stores and an e-commerce site at www.ycmc.com, to the existing The Athlete’s Foot organisation.

It plans to complete the integration of Shoe City into the group before the end of July.
