Texas-based distributor of sporting goods to school and college teams BSN sports has acquired Foot Locker’s team sales division.

Foot Locker chief executive, Richard Johnson, said he was pleased with the deal. He explained that the team sales business had connected directly with high-school coaches and athletic directors across the US to offer products and services for their sports teams.

But he said this division had, historically, accounted for less than 1% of Foot Locker’s annual sales.
