Agreement will help cotton organisations address shared goals
Aid by Trade Foundation, the Hamburg-based organisation that runs the Cotton made in Africa initiative, has signed a new memorandum of understanding with the International Cotton Association (ICA).
In a statement after signing the agreement, ICA said it would help foster greater co-operation between the organisations and enable them to work more closely on shared goals, including training, information exchanges, testing and quality.
ICA president, Alex Hsu, said agreements of this kind help make trading safer and strengthen relations.
