Sneakers take lion’s share of shoe purchases for children in France
Ahead of the start of the new school year, French footwear industry body the Fédération Française de la Chaussure (FFC) has revealed the results of a recent survey that shows sports shoes are French children’s favourite.
Parents’ responses to the survey showed that 56% of the shoes they buy for their children are sneakers, FFC said.
The survey also found that 53% of parents think brand loyalty matters when buying shoes for their children.
Another detail to emerge was that one-third of respondents said previous footwear purchases for their children included second-hand shoes.
