Massachusetts-based textiles group Haartz Corporation and waterless and PFAS-free textile finishing technology developer Green Theme Technologies (GTT) have entered into a new partnership that they claim will “ revolutionise how textiles are finished in the US”.

Haartz will hold the only US licence for the GTT’s EMPEL process for applying durable water repellency, durable stain release and other finishes to textiles. It has said it now plans to scale up production with several household brands.
