Revenues up by 50% for Rieter

Textile machinery developer Rieter has reported revenues of 987.4 million Swiss francs for the first nine months of this year. This represents an increase of 50% compared to the same period last year.
It continued to receive “major orders” from customers in Turkey, Uzbekistan, and China, but it warned of weakened demand for new systems in the coming months.
It said demand, particularly for consumables and spare parts, would depend on the capacity utilisation of spinning mills.
