Fabric from three UK companies in new Orvis jacket
Outdoor brand Orvis, which specialises in fly-fishing gear, has used fabric from three UK-based companies in a new product, its Anchorage Pieced Field jacket.
The outer shell is in weather-resistant waxed cotton from Dundee’s Halley Stevensons, while the bottom paneling is a warm plaid from West Yorkshire’s Abraham Moon & Sons, one of the last remaining vertical woollen mills in the UK. The wool-insulated, quilted interior, made with insulation material from HD Wool, adds an extra layer of warmth.
