Successful return for North West and North East shows

Organiser of The Materials Shows, American Events, has said its events enjoyed a successful return earlier this year when they opened their doors to in-person attendees for the first time in two-and-a-half years.
Its North West show in Portland attracted 200 exhibitors and more than 1,800 visitors. Its North East show a week later in Boston brought in 96 exhibitors and 530 buyers.
American Events chief executive, Hisham Muhareb, said the shows’ return following the covid-19 pandemic demonstrated “our commitment to connecting materials and components suppliers from around the world directly to apparel and footwear manufacturers”.
