Female-run clothing brands to benefit from Fashion Impact Fund campaign
New York City-based charitable organisation The Fashion Impact Fund will partner with global brands and retailers to donate a percentage of sales proceeds on the shopping days following Thanksgiving in the US at the end of November to a specific group of clothing companies.
Money raised as part of initiatives like Giving Tuesday, which falls on November 29 this year, will provide grants to clothing and footwear companies that have female founders and the aim of advancing sustainable fashion. It has already named 18 companies who will benefit from this.
One of the 18 companies that has a particular focus on athletic activity is Thomas Royall, a UK-based swimwear label that uses fast-drying technical fabrics in its tailored swim shorts.
