Nine-month results show growth for Yue Yuen
Athletic footwear manufacturing group Yue Yuen has reported revenues of just under $7 billion for the first nine months of 2022, an increase of 8.2% compared to the same period last year.
In that time, the Hong Kong-based group shipped 213 million pairs of shoes, an increase in volume of 19%, although the group admitted that this was compared to a low figure last year. But Yue Yuen insisted there was “solid global demand for its footwear products”.
Yue Yuen also experienced what it called “a robust increase” of 11.8% year on year in the average selling price of its shoes in the period from January to September 2022. That average selling price over the nine-month period was $20.61 per pair.
