Sports brand Mizuno has taken inspiration from the coastal town of Ine in Japan, famous for its wooden fishing houses, for a new capsule collection.

Comprising three styles, Mizuno has called the new collection Fishermen.

The brand said natural elements were at the heart of the collection, in which it said it has sought to pay homage to the sea and to its “always-changing appearance”.

A layer of mesh on the suede upper represents fishing nets and a colour combination of deep navy blue and white represent the sea and the foam of the waves.
