Fabric choice helps Zai make special mid-layer
Swiss ski brand Zai has used high-end fabric in a new mid-layer garment it has developed for the current season.
According to the Zurich-based brand, the hooded garment combines functionality and elegance with a minimalist design.
The cut allows the back section to “run down elegantly” while still protecting the neck area. There is also a specially rounded end to the sleeves to ensure a shape that will help wearers keep their hands warm.
High heat-retention is also part of the characteristics the garment offers, thanks to the choice of fabric. Zai has used a fabric from Loro Piana’s Favola range, combining 10% cashmere and 90% wool.
