First ‘Responsible Business’ certification goes to workwear brand

Certification body Hohenstein has awarded the industry’s first Oeko-Tex Responsible Business accolade to German workwear brand Weitblick.
This new certification was introduced by in November 2022 to support companies in the textile sector in the implementation of human rights and environmental due diligence obligations. The contribution to achieving the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement is another optional component.
“We are delighted that Weitblick is setting an example,” said Hohenstein’s head of audits and certifications, Michael Möller.
