Record-breaking alpinist wins sponsorship from KPMG
Swiss extreme alpinist Dani Arnold has secured a new sponsorship deal with professional services firm KPMG.
“KPMG stands for a strong focus on performance and high quality standards, with a long history of supporting niche sports,” the climber said.
For his part, the chief executive of KPMG Switzerland, Stefan Pfister, said the company was proud to add Mr Arnold as a brand ambassador.
Dani Arnold is one of the world’s leading extreme mountaineers and free solo climbers. He made a name for himself with his solo ascents of the six great north faces of the Alps: the Eiger, Matterhorn, Grandes Jorasses, Piz Badile, Aiguille du Dru and Grosse Zinne. He still holds the record time on five of these climbs.
