A new OrganoClick has started to emerge, CEO claims
Functional materials developer OrganoClick has reported full-year revenues equivalent to $11 million for 2022. This represents an increase of 4.5% year on year.
The Swedish company did not achieve profitability last year, but its chief executive, Mårten Hellberg, said a new OrganoClick began to emerge in the last quarter of the year, describing it as a more cost-effective company with a clear focus on green chemistry and profitable growth.
“Changes we are implementing now will gradually turn us into a purely green chemical company,” Mr Hellberg said.
He added that the company’s focus will be on three product areas: textile impregnation, binders for nonwoven and industrial wood protection.
Founded in 2006 as a commercial spin-off company based on research carried out at Stockholm University and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, OrganoClick has specialised in developing functionality such as durable water-repellency without fluorocarbons.
