Change at the top at Toray

Japanese industrial group Toray has announced Mitsuo Ohya as its new company president. Mr Ohya will take up the role in June.

Mitsuo Ohya, a former general manager of the group’s industrial and textile fibres division, joined Toray in 1980. He became its executive vice-president in 2020.

He will take over from Akihiro Nikkaku as president; Mr Nikkaku will become the group’s chairman.
