Milan-based CLASS, a hub that specialises in promoting environmental responsibility in fashion, has added ring yarn producer Pozzi Electa to the list of suppliers it lists in a materials partner.

Based in Val Seriana near Bergamo, Pozzi Electa specialises in extra-long staple cotton yarns, ultrafine kashmir, wools, linen, hemp and silk. It also produces yarns viscose, micromodal, lyocell, nylon and recycled polyester.

CLASS said careful selection of raw materials and a commitment to sustainability, for example by generating energy from renewable resources, helped Pozzi Electa stand out.
