Brands prepare to take part in World Oceans Day exhibition
The United Nations Conscious Fashion and Lifestyle Network has announce that member brands will showcase sustainable fashion products at a special exhibition at United Nations headquarters in New York on World Oceans Day, June 8.
This year’s World Oceans Day has as its theme ‘Planet Ocean: Tides are Changing’ and will call for society “to put the ocean first”.
Brands taking part will include Aradhita Parasrampuria, Argot Swim, Love Stories Bali, North Sails and Sand Cloud. These brands represent “a commitment to support ocean conservation, preservation and regeneration around the world”, the United Nations Conscious Fashion and Lifestyle Network said.
Visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to learn about the brands’ sustainability practices and discover the stories behind their products.
