New Zealand Merino has appointed Angus Street as its new chief executive officer. He replaces long-serving John Brakenridge, who had led the the sales and marketing organisation that promotes the fibre in the international marketplace on behalf of New Zealand’s wool growers since its launch in 1996.

Mr Street has joined New Zealand Merino from Australian company AuctionsPlus, an online marketplace for the agricultural sector. He had been its chief executive since 2018.
