Expansion for OrganoTex
Lotus plant-inspired water-repellency technology developer OrganoTex has announced plans to expand its business in textiles and footwear.
It has said demand for and interest in its PFAS-free waterproofing products for clothing and shoes “continues to be strong”. To build on this, it has now partnered with distributors and agents “to penetrate new regions and unlock new business opportunities”.
During the third quarter of this year, the Swedish company intends to launch its technology in Germany, Austria, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Taiwan and Indonesia.
Sales manager, Susanne Karlsson, has explained that the recent launch of a new generation of textile waterproofing products. She said: “With these products, consumers can care for and extend the life of the garments they already have, without spreading plastic polymers, fossil-based waxes or PFAS in nature.”
