Ten textile firms awarded grants
A project that aims to help small and medium textile companies in Europe increase their digital skills and become more environmentally responsible is to award grants to ten firms.
The EuroBoosTEX European partnership will award grants of €15,000 to three companies from France, three from Spain, two from Italy and one each from Denmark and Slovenia. The companies are to use this money to develop ideas for digital and environmental improvements that they have already submitted to the project.
Before the end of this year, EuroBoosTEX will make a second round of awards. For this, it will also be possible for companies to work together in a consortium, with each successful bid attracting a grant of €60,000.
Project partners, including France-based start-up booster platform Techtera, have announced an information day for this second round; it will take place on September 20.
