Munich cycling industry event postponed

The World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI) has announced the postponement of its World Cycling Forum event for 2023. The event was to take place in Munich on September 6. WFSGI has given no new date yet.
It said: “In discussion with senior leaders of the industry and seeing the ongoing economic challenges within the bicycle industry, we have made the decision to postpone the World Cycling Forum 2023.”
It acknowledged that the postponement would come as a disappointment to many in the industry but said its first priority was “to listen to the bicycle industry’s current situation”.
