Viscose fibre manufacturing group Kelheim Fibres has announced a new collaboration with MagnoLab, a network of textile companies in Biella in Italy, with the aim of driving innovation and sustainability.

Dirctor of marketing and communications at Kelheim, Dr Marina Crnoja-Cosic, said the company’s relationship with MagnoLab companies would give it the opportunity to use a wide range of technologies to make samples and prototypes, based on its specialty fibres. 

If customers like the prototypes, they will be able to transfer them to their own production facilities.
