Growth for Acushnet driven by Titlelist balls, clubs and gear
Sports group Acushnet has reported revenues of just under $2 billion for the first nine months of 2023, an increase of almost 10% year on year.
It said this growth was primarily driven by higher sales of Titleist products, notably golf balls, golf clubs and golf gear. Across the nine months, sales of these products increased by 13.9%, 14.8% and 7% respectively, bringing in revenues of $622.1 million, $549.8 million and $184.6 million.
Its Footjoy golfwear brand achieved sales of just over $500 million for the January-September period, registering a decline of 1.4%.
The group’s sales in the US were more than $1.1 billion, an increase of 15.4%. There were declines in Europe, South Korea and Japan, but growth in the rest of the world.
