Redevelopment project complete at Norrøna
Norwegian outdoor brand Norrøna has reopened its headquarters in Oslo after a successful redevelopment project.
The newly redeveloped Norrøna House, in Lysaker to the west of the Norwegian capital, showcases the brand’s newest collections, but also offers second-hand products and a facility for repairing garments that have become damaged.
There is also a special “storm room” in which customers can try jackets and other products out in conditions that emulate those they might experience in the mountains or on the trail.
The facility also has a restaurant, coffee shop and event space.
Chief executive, Jørgen Jørgensen, said the project had taken two-and-a-half years to complete. He thanked Norrøna team members for their hard work and said he was “happy to see the smiles on everyone’s faces and to feel the energy”.
