Chief executive of SAC to step down
Campaign group the Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC) has announced that its chief executive, Amina Razvi, is to leave at the end of this year. It said the decision was a mutual one between Ms Razvi and the board of directors.
She joined the organisation eight years ago and worked in various senior roles before taking over as chief executive in 2019. Since then, membership of the SAC has doubled and now numbers more than 300 organisations.
At the time of the announcement, she said she was eager to continue working “on the issues I’m deeply passionate about”. She added that she was looking forward to a new role that would allow her to drive meaningful change, and positively impact people and the planet”.
