Faster repairs for Rieter customers in Uzbekistan

05/12/2023

Specialist supplier of systems for manufacturing yarn from staple fibres Rieter has opened a repair services station in Uzbekistan.

It said the new facility, located in the capital, Tashkent, would provide spinning mills in Uzbekistan with a faster repair turnaround and minimum production downtime when technical faults develop.

Its capabilities will cover mechanical and electronic repairs for all types of Rieter machines, including spinning and winding. In addition, the repair station will have a warehouse where parts, such as control units, sensors and drives, will be stocked to ensure quick turnaround times for repairs.

With this addition, the machinery manufacturer will have 25 repair stations in 19 countries.

“This will make local customers even more competitive, and forms part of Rieter’s growth strategy in this highly attractive focus market,” the Swiss company said.
