International Cotton Conference set for Bremen

Bremen will host the thirty-seventh International Cotton Conference from March 22-24, bringing experts from cotton production, brands and the wider textile supply chain to the German city.

There will be presentations and discussions on a wide range of topics, covering cotton farming, ginning, spinning and textile processing, and recycling are all on the agenda.

Speakers will include analyst, author and specialist in fashion sustainability issues Veronica Bates Kassatly, senior vice-president for global supply chain marketing at Cotton Incorporated, Mark Messura, executive director of the International Cotton Advisory Committee, Eric Trachtenberg, director of Brazilian cotton farmers’ association Marcelo Duarte Monteiro Abrapa, and the chief executive of Better Cotton, Alan McClay.
