Senior appointment at footwear components group
New Jersey-based footwear components developer Stanbee has appointed Tom Muller as its new global sales director. He will take over from Leo Provencher, who will retire at the end of May.
Mr Muller joins Stanbee from Texon International, where he has worked for the last 20 years, most recently as the US brand director for the Texon and Rhenoflex brands.
Stanbee chief executive, Michael Berkson, said the company looked forward to adding Tom Muller’s voice to its efforts to present to the market “innovative, sustainable footwear components”, including its recently launched Nitro line.
Nitro Force heel counters and toe boxes are made from at least 85% recycled plastic bottles and are fully recyclable. Other Nitro products have at least 50% recycled content.
