Outdoor apparel and footwear group Columbia Sportswear has reported revenues of $770 million for the first quarter of 2024. This represents a fall of 6% year on year.

Apparel accounted for $619 million of the total figure, with footwear contributing $151 million. Apparel sales held relatively steady, with a fall of 2%, but the decline in the footwear category was of 20%.
