France’s ministry of agriculture will host an event on May 16 to unveil a new national roadmap for the structure of the wool value chain.

Consumer research and the results so far of wider projects such as AlpTextyles have fed into the new strategy.

AlpTextyles is an ongoing project that, with funding from the European Commission’s European Regional Development Fund, aims to preserve and promote the rich textile heritage of Alpine communities and the ‘green lifestyles’ that they are part of.
