Racket manufacturer joins Grand Slam celebrations
After Carlos Alcaraz’s victory in the 2024 Roland-Garros tournament in Paris on June 9, equipment manufacturer Babolat joined the celebrations.
The Spanish player won the tournament using Babolat Pure Aero 98 rackets.
This is the first time Carlos Alcaraz has won Roland-Garros, adding this Grand Slam title to his victories at the US Open in 2022 and at Wimbledon in 2023.
He has not yet won the Australian open, but the new title makes him, at 21, the youngest player to win Grand Slams on the three surfaces players have to contend with at the four tournaments: clay, grass and hard courts.
Babolat also celebrated this win as the thirty-ninth Grand Slam title that tennis stars have won using its rackets.
