Investment in Rieter technology offers Baisheng ‘new benchmark’

A first complete spinning process using Rieter’s latest air-jet spinning technology is to go into a textile manufacturer in China.

Guangxi Baisheng Textile has signed an agreement with the Swiss textile machinery developer to use its J70 air-jet spinning technology in its set-up.

The partners have said this will allow Baisheng to increase automation levels in its operation and reduce conversion costs, setting “a new benchmark in air-jet spinning in terms of quality and productivity”.

Baisheng is a vertically integrated textile company. Its aim is to ensure a steady yarn supply for its knitting operations. Rieter’s J70 air-jet spinning machine offers a high level of production efficiency and features 200 individually automated spinning units.

The J70 boasts delivery speeds of up to 600 metres per minute and supports up to four lots simultaneously.
