Step towards circular production for Páramo
Outdoor brand Páramo has launched a new collection called the 360° Series. It features the men’s Halkon 360° jacket and the unisex Aspira 360° smock.
Páramo said the garments were crafted with “cutting-edge fabric technology and decades of outdoor expertise”.
The garments use chemically recycled polyester, made from post-consumer and textile industry waste, which the brand has referred to as a step towards circular production without any compromise on quality.
Chief executive, Richard Pyne, commented: “I truly believe that as an industry we must concentrate on circularity; using raw materials from other industries does not present a long-term solution. The work we have done demonstrates that it is possible to close the loop within the outdoor sector.”
