Production has begun at a thermal insulation manufacturing facility that Freudenberg Performance Materials Apparel has built in Vietnam.

The new factory, located in production opening of its state-of-the-art thermal insulation factory located in Dong Nai Province, will produce Comfortemp thermal insulation material that Freudenberg offers to customers, including sportwear apparel brands.

Chief technology officer, John McNabb, said there was “thriving demand” for the material among garment manufacturers in Asia. 

“By localising production in Vietnam, we are reducing lead times for our customers and streamlining the supply chain,” he explained.
