Outdoor brand Norrøna has announced that it will open its first store in Zurich in November.

The Norwegian brand said work would start in the coming weeks on preparing the store, which will be at Löwenstrasse, 32.

Chief executive, Jørgen Jørgensen, said he looked forward to having a presence “in the heart of the Alps”.

He added: “Zurich has a large population of active and nature-loving people, but it is also a great destination for active tourists on their way to ski and mountain destinations in Switzerland and other Alpine countries. We can finally showcase our take on quality, function, design, and sustainability in outdoor products in this historic and beautiful city.”
