Brazil event provides platform for new Archroma vision
Textile chemicals group Archroma had a presence at Febratex 2024 in southern Brazil in August, to present its Planet Conscious+. The event opened in Blumenau, Santa Catarina, on August 20.
Archroma has described Planet Conscious+ as a vision for addressing textile industry challenges including water and energy, chemical use and waste management, while boosting competitiveness.
Technologies on display at Febratex included the patented EarthColors range, which creates high-performance bio waste-based dyes from non-edible food and agricultural waste.
The group also showcased Ultratex STS-U, a silicone softener for cotton and cotton blended knits, Siligen EH1, a biomass-based silicone softener, Avitera SE Generation Next, for cellulosic fibres, and Eriopon E3-Save, an all-in-one auxiliary.
