Yarn producers join forces

French yarn producers Moulinage du Solier and Sofila have merged to form a single company. 

Lyon-based Sofila is a specialist in nylon yarns; Moulinage du Solier, based in Dounières, about 80 kilometres to the south-west, specialises in performance yarns, including Aramid and flame-retardant polyester.

They said that the merger left them “better-placed than ever” to meet the needs of customers.
