Boston innovation hub for Wolverine
Footwear group Wolverine Worldwide has opened a new global innovation hub in Boston.
It said the 1,000 square-metre facility would be home to design, development, product management and merchandising teams.
Chief executive, Chris Hufnagel, said Boston had “exceptional design and footwear talent” and a deep connection to Wolverine’s brands.
He added that providing “world-class environments” was key to attracting and retaining talent. “Spaces that encourage creativity, collaboration and innovation are critical as we continue building a new company for the future,” he said.
