Specialist sewing thread producers American & Efird and Gütermann, two of the companies that make up the Elevate Textiles group, have opened a new technical sewing centre in India.

The new facility, located in Bawal in the state of Haryana in northern India, will serve as a creative hub and as a workspace in which cut-and-sew customers can evaluate new developments.

President of American & Efird, Chris Alt, who presided at the opening of the new centre, said: “The new technical centre is an example of our dedication to innovation and education for our clients. We want people to know they have a partner and resource with A&E and Gütermann.”
