Growth for Teijin’s materials and fibres divisions

Japanese industrial group Teijin has announced an increase in revenues of 6.7% for the first nine months of its current financial year, the period ending December 31, 2024. Over this period, group revenues were more than $4.9 billion.

Revenues for the period at the group’s materials division, which includes aramid fibres, polycarbonate resin, carbon fibres and composites, reached $2.3 billion, an increase of 6.6%. 

Its fibres division, which includes the production and sale of polyester fibres, had revenues of $1.75 billion, up by 11% year on year.
