Textile machinery group Rieter has reported full-year sales for 2024 of just under 860 million Swiss francs (CHF), down by 39% compared to the figure for the previous year.

It pointed out that it had taken orders with a total value of CHF 725.5 million, a figure that was 34% up on the previous year’s.

The company said it had succeeded in strengthening its competitive position in a challenging market environment.
