Sporting goods retail group Intersport has reported full-year revenues of €14 billion for 2024, an increase of 2.1% compared to the previous year.

Its third-quarter results were its best ever for those months. The fourth quarter was the group’s strongest-ever quarter.

The Bern-based group, which has more than 5,400 stores across 42 countries, said it had experienced particularly strong growth in France, Italy and Switzerland. It also said its football, running and ‘sportstyle’ categories had performed well.

Group chair, Corinne Gensollen, said she was optimistic that Intersport’s strong performance would continue in 2025.
