New Zealand triathlete Hayden Wilde became part of the ASICS professional athlete roster at the start of April and celebrated with a win in the T100 Singapore event just a few days later.

Hayden Wilde has represented New Zealand at two Olympic Games, taking bronze at Tokyo 2020 and silver at Paris 2024.

He said on signing up with ASICS that the Japanese brand produced “incredible shoes, from training through to race day”. He chose to wear the Metaspeed Edge shoes and used them to good effect in the closing road-race component of the Singapore event.
