Asia push for British Wool
Wool trading company British Wool is working to grow demand in Asia. The Bradford-based organisation, which collects, grades and sells wool on behalf of UK sheep farmers, has appointed Yuzo Hibino as its new commercial officer for Japan.
Mr Hibino will bring a deep understanding of Japanese consumer values, British Wool said, and “a passion for authentic, sustainable materials”.
Chief executive, Andrew Hogley, commented: “British wool is a natural fit for the Japanese market, where quality, provenance and sustainability are highly valued.”
