Following Mango’s decision in June to partner with Circulose, the two organisations have announced a further tie-up.

Mango said it would shift “a meaningful share” of its use of manmade cellulosic fibres to fibres made by Circulose from textile waste. Circulose described the Barcelona-based fashion group as its first “scaling partner”.

Now, chair of the Circulose board of directors, Helena Helmersson, is to become an independent advisor to Mango.

She became chair of Circulose in December 2024. She took up the role after 26 years at one of Mango’s biggest rivals, H&M, spending her last four years there as chief executive.
