Sustainable solutions on offer for corporate apparel
Former chief executive of Ecoalf and of North Sails Apparel, Marisa Selfa, has launched a new venture aimed at corporate apparel.
Her new idea is Impact Tailors, which will aim to replace “disposable basics” with “sustainable, design-led solutions”. She said that what employees wear reflect what companies stand for.
London-based Impact Tailors will specialise in garments that are designed for durability, innovation and circularity using materials such as organic cotton, algae-based textiles, recycled fibres, fruit- and ocean-based fabrics.
“Uniforms and merchandising are one of the most visible, yet overlooked opportunities for immediate action,” Marisa Selfa said.
